Ratatouille Trailer

Yeah!!! This cartoon is showing very the soon... Can't wait to watch the little 'me' running around the kitchen with excitement and thrilled feeling; with all the knives flying around, rolling pins smashing towards 'me', then end up in a jar... hehehehe...

the whole scene in the kitchen really giving me all the flash backs during my time in college. Me and my classmates were having kitchen practicals... Kitchen to us at that time is like a playground or paradise to us. We fool around with raw items e.g. fish, chicken without head, duck, lamb rack, and etc. Showing all funny and nonsense poses... It's normal to see pots and pans flying around and hearing people shouting here and there. throwing food around...hehehehe...

We tast everything which we think are edible... we come up with our own sauces, food presentation, and our own dish. LOL... We got a lot of 'si fus' around... Chef Bala, Chef Norizan, Chef Kartina, Chef Pat, and etc... Chef Bala is the man... Don't mess with him, cos you will loose your sense of hearing for at least 2mins.... He can really shout and is quite weird cos he has a very thin body. Just Kidding.... All our chefs are nice people and they are sporting, they will always fool around with us after class...and during class sometimes... Our F&B lecturers are fun too and sporting as well.... Ms MunYee, Mr Patrick, Mr Reuben, Mr Tay Boon, Tengku Murad, and Puan Siti.... Wow... in this cartoon can really bring back so much of memories.... hehhehehe...

Frankly speaking, France do have nice food...as what 'i' say in the movie line... hehehehe... e.g croissant, gateaux au chocolate, confit du canard, and etc.... the service wise will be fantastic as well... cos before meal, you will say 'Bon apetite'...

Never be great to be back to your own homeland...

Wow... It's so nice to be home again but this trip is quite short. Only back for 4 days, just for the weekends. Being a non qualified tour guide around Kuching town with my friends. Luckily my dad is there to assist... hahaha...

I had lots of good food there and I really eat non stop during the 4 days stay. I had Laksa, Barbeque Pork Ribs from Barbeque Specialist, Open Air 'sio bee', my mum's 'bak chang', BING Cafe's White Summer & Tiramisu (BEST Tiramisu in Town), Sugarcane Coconut from 'Song Kheng Hai', and many many more delicious delicacies. Take a whole page to talk about food... Some of the food in my checklist was not being achieved and will have to wait until my next trip... LOL

Lots of changes and development going on in Kuching. I really going to miss some of the old buildings because they are going to be teared down soon within this few years for future development of the waterfront. Everywhere is under construction. Luckily can take the opportunity to grab some snap shots at the old wet market locatted at the end of the waterfront opposite the courthouse, with my 2nd cousin uncle and family. That stall serve a good taste of coffee and 'teh c'... money just can't buy back that kind of environment, it took so many years to build that kind of environment.

This trip also get to meet up with my God Parents and get to chat with few of my close buddies. Everyone had a good laugh and enjoy themselves during the dinner time.

Me, my dad and Uncle David, Jason, & Chaya went for the International Rainforest Musical Festival in Sarawak Cultural Village. We arrived quite early before the show starts. We manage to move around Sarawak Cultural Village and visit each and different Tribes' Houses. The video that will be shown below, is actually a recording of mine while we visit the Rumah Orang-Ulu. This is actually an unexpected scene. The uncle is actually preparing his dinner and he was taking care of the fire behind the house. When we get to know he knows how to playthe Sape, we ask him to play and he willingly to show us.

The environment of the whole performance was fantastic and everyone was dancing and having lots of fun.On that night, there a few of the performance that I like which is the 'Sape' played by Jerry Kamit, the Madagascar group, and Blowpiper from Scotland.

During this trip, I really walk with my friends along the long stretch of Kuching Waterfront and Jalan Pandungan which is a very nice thing to do. Why??? Most of the time when we drive through that area, there are actually a lot of things are hidden up and we intend to miss it. The environment of the locals living and working lifestyle and relationship as a Sarawakian.

Yahoo..!!! After 4 years of study in Taylor's College, at last i've made it through. Now I'm so relief due to there's no more exams and assignments to woried about. Hahaha.. Time really flies, and most of us are going to go on our seperate ways. Some people start woking, some people continue Master Programme, some just chilling around, some sourcing for jobs and etc. I'm really satisfied of what I have now. Eventhough I didn't really score a very good grade but I think what I have now is more than enough. As long as I'm holding a Bachelor Degree on hand.
Luckily that I have my family and my close friends that help me go through this bumpy and slippery road.

While doing my Dissertation, I'm really struggling but my family and friends are there to help me. Even my friend from UK motivates and hold me up when I'm down in the mud. I really take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them. If not because of you guys, I won't made it through my Dissertation.

Strive harder and never give up until the last minute. Congratulations to those who made it through as well...!!!

Surprised Birthday Party - 24.3.07

I don't know how to put this in words because it's a very nice feeling in my heart and memories... My group of nice, loving, caring, naughty, active, playful friends...throw me a surprise party @ Living Arts Studio. Friends from Living Arts, Bantus, and the club really gave me a night of surprise...
The whole thing starts from my friend telling me that she got problem with her relationship and that's how i fall into her trap and their plans... then we went for bowling, only me and her. That's a good distraction and i'm so concentrated to help her and to calm her down. Telling her not to be so down, and think positively... after bowling, went back to the studio because someone didn't take the padlock key...so 'dai tao ha'...hehehehe... we went up to the studio and this time Jordan left and then when Yike heard the noisy music she became so frustrated and that is the time they lure me to the rooftop....and i was so terrified due to heard some noise and I thought there might be someone up there cause it's very dark... I saw shadow and there are plastic bags on the floor, i thought might be drugs addicts or glue sniflers....
Then I told Teresa and Yike to leave the place now, but Yike hold my my arm so tight and Teresa being so Hero...to check it out..Then my name was shouted and when i walk towards Teresa's voice, the only thing i saw was a group of people and 1 cake. That was the time they got me... i felt so touched. After that, we had a 'birthday roda'...'ass whupping session' and is damn pain mann....hehehehe..... this time was my first birthday roda, and i played with most of them who played Capoeira... the Axe..was not too bad... the party went on until 2am++...
Onece agian, I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all my friends who were there for me and for those who can't make it for the party, everything ware appreciated... Until 23yrs, this is my 1st surprise party and this is the best and I will never forget it...this memory will stay within me forever... I Love you all....

Yahoo !!! Chinese New Year is coming..

Yeah...!!! The most happening festive season is just round the corner... Can't wait to get home for Chinese New Year. When I'm back home, the 1st thing that I will say is 'Home Sweet Home'.. *muacks...muacks..muacks..* muahahhahaha!!! Can't wait to meet my parents, relatives and friends... The most interesting thing is for me to eat eat eat... all the nice cookies that my mum baked and the cakes she make.... yum... yum..!!!

Unfortunately is that i'm only back there for a few days only due to my internship in KL. Need to get my 'ass' back to work... What to do? that's life and future... hahahaha...!!! So, my itenary will be a bit packed up and rush... not enough to spare...hehehehe. But, this trip i might just wanna spend more time at home just to relax myself since I'm away from KL (the hectic city and the very packed up train travelling everyday)....

Recently there are lots of things happening around...good things....which are the Taylor's Bantus Capoeira Club is still on and there are new members and appreciation to Living Arts Studio giving us the opportunity to use their place for trainings.... & having Grupo Bantus Capoeira Malaysia to conduct official classes at their lovely warm studio.... Thank you Teresa and Yike for the support ....

Tiring of Travelling... from PJ to KL

It's really tiring to travel from PJ to KL by public transportation during weekdays. There are certain peak hours that I have to warn you guys out there not to be the victims.... because every morning i have to go through all those 'shitty experience'... every morning smell nice and being fresh and wish to have a nice day but when reaching the train station and looking iinto the train, i will have a bad feeling that my day will be ruined if i go on to the train. My instinct are never wrong about that. Because after goin on the train and reaching the hotel, i really smell like 'shit' and sweating lile a 'paip bocor' (leaking paip).... due to the bad ventilation in the train and the people were standing back to back. Sometimes can't really breathe. This is really a bad practice and culture. They are not considering enough to others and most of them are 'kia su' man.... the train is alos not efficient and the designing of the chairs in the KTM is really not a good planning. Sigh...!!!
Don't know when will the government restructure the train service and make everything convenient to the public. Eveything is just not convenient to everyone.. Sometimes I really pity those people that are queuing up for the train. others just cut queue and pushing the inocent into the train... Imagine you are standing, and people behind you are pushing you into the train and then will be squeezed.... arrgghh....!!!!
Damn...i don't know how long will can I stand this kid of environment and situation.... That's why wvery morning I hope for the best to come... sometime, avoiding is not a good solution. Anyone can suggest anything to me or share your ideas with me. Till then, peace out and hope to hear from y'all...

Training in Training Dept of Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur...

Wow... I don't know whether did I put on any weight during my training in this department due to most of the time when there are in-house Training going on, then definitely there will be coffee breaks...hahaha... food again... =)

Most of the days having Coffee until my brain is filled with cafine... But the Roti Jala is good and the Chicken curry is really good... I've been attending numerous training in the department, and most ofthe time there are Mints on the table and othere than that... whenever we participate during the training and if we get to answer the question asked by Ms. Zaharah (training executive) correctly, she will give away prizes e.g. Mars Bars, Kit Kat, and etc...

Whoa..!!! too much of sweets... I think averagely everyone who attended the training for the continuosly 2 weeks, had swollen a big packet of Mentos Mints... Why??? This is due to they don't want to fall asleep... that's why.. =) I'm 1 of them unfortunately.... Me and Yoga during our 2 days Orientation both of us were known as the 'fisherman of Crowne Plaza KL'... actually the name was given by ourselves.. Lol.. It was FUN to attend the training...

I get to exposed most of their taining and I learn about their Brand and their Services...

As usual my training is still going on until.... ... ... ...

Chirstmas Charity Party @ Living Arts Studio - 17th Dec '06

This Christmas is really lively and with a very good energy for me... Living Arts Studio came up with an idea of celebrating this year's Christmas with the Orphans from Trinity Homes... On that day, there are varieties of talent going on e.g. Breakdance, Stand-up Comedian, Hip Hop, Latin, Chinese Cultural Dance, Capoeira, Singing, Acapella, and etc (most of the performers are amateurs).

These kids are special due to they can really dance and especially one of the small kid can really 'break'!!! I'm not kidding... He can do 'worm', 'helicopter' and etc... & he is only 5 years old. The crowd was awesome and the food was great... I can't believe that I can sing...hehehe It was my really 1st time to participate in singing and in addition is Acapella... just being the background. Lol... The whole preparation was hectic and Teresa and Yike always have to stay up until quite late in the studio. They are passionate people. Living Arts is a place that gives everyone a chance to present themselves and to know people...

Had a great fun during the 3rd Annual Bantus Capoeira Malaysia Festival....

The annual festival was fantastic... I just can't explain to whoever never join the workshops and the whole event. Only one word to describe which is 'FUN'...!!! Just can't wait for the next festival and Batizado... i really enjoy the workshops with Mestre and instructors, you enjoy the whole workshops... There are laughter and exciting moments. Definitely is a tough training session but all the effort was really worth it. Got the chance to train with different instructors together with their skills and knowledge.

We get to learn and play Maculele in the roda and everyone was involve and the axé of the roda was great. New songs were sang I really open up my eye for all the moves that were done by the Brazilians and my seniors. They were fantastic. The worshop for Mortals were something new to me, i don't even know how to flip myself and how to get the momentyhm. Profeseur Gringo and Insturctor Claudinho, and Coelho assist us and coaching us how to flip ourselves. I just can't believe that I've done it. We went for a dance class as well, conducted by Claudinho...which is Forro. This is really fun... LOL...

The night in MAISON, we were having the Viva Brasil Party... My seniors and the instuctors from Brasil did the performance there in the club. They perform the Maculele, Capoeira Regional, Capoeira Angola, and never forget the Samba percussion. When Rafael and Gringo were palying the Angola, everyone were laughing because it was so funny. They use their skills to challenge each other and making fun of each other.

Batizado is the day when all of us the beginenrs getting 'Baptized' by our Mestre, Profeseur, or Intructors... Basically I was 'Baptized' by my Instrutor Rafael, he gave me a 'headbutt'... that w as a good one. At last I got my Coral Corda. Then we have to play with our visitors from Singapore, Thailand, and Australia... Whoohoo...!!!

We really enjoy to the MAX... the party continue after the Batizado all the way to Marissa's place in the afternoon for Barbeque...

Hope to see more Capoeiristas next Batizado... Bantus Capoeira for LIFE...!!!

International Buskers Festival

There’s this International Buskers Festival going on for the whole week of last. It was fantastic to watch. They are damn good in all their talents. They are nice and friendly people as well, easy to approach. The festival was organized by the Tourism Malaysia. It was really a success; they come from various countries such as, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand and etc. The opening ceremony for the event was so grand and they eventually came with a parade. The costumes are imported from Brasil and most of the performers are from Soka Gakkai Malaysia. The costumes were so nice and colourful and it really brings up the whole cherish and happening mood in Dataran Merdeka for that night. Dataran Merdeka is ALIVE…!!!

OK, some of you might not know what I am talking about. What is Buskers? Buskers are people who perform on streets to earn some money. It can be any forms of entertainment to entertain the people on streets.

On Saturday midnight, there’s a Buskers Party on streets at Asian Heritage Row by Carlsberg. It was great… get to see how they swallow fire and how they play with fires. Even acrobatics, jokes, juggling of knives, walk on knives and etc. 3sa, Li Yian, Melvin , and I was there from 12am till 3.30am.

This is an annual event, but next year the venue is yet to be confirmed. Very soon there will be a local buskers festival going on as well. Will update everyone when I get to know when….

Something sHocKinG happen today during my semester exam... =) vEry sUrpRising...

This is the Malaysian version of RIPLEY'S BELIEVE IT OR NOT..!!!

Today is my 1st day of semester 2 exam, things are going quite normal after lunch... We are preparing to go for our 2nd paper, everyone was as usual panic and nervous and serious in their look. 1pm sharp is our 2nd paper, everyone was seated down and waiting for the moment to write/answer the question paper... This is the time the shocking thing happen... we were being told before the exam that there will be about 13 pages of article as our case study, but what we have in front of us is only 1 piece of QUESTION paper...???!!!

Then we told the examiner about it, then she went and check. After 10mins, she told us that we have to wait for 30mins, then another 30mins, and then another 20-30mins....at last our Annex/Article of the case study arrived.... It took us 1 hour 30 mins just sitting in the exam hall doing nothing... this is really a crap story man....!!! The reason they gave us was so called "TECHNICAL" problem... Wasted our time... and that basically affected our spirit of doing that particular paper. All this should be done/prepared weeks ago. Just don't understand what was their issue...???

I think this is the very 1st time having this kind of unexpected situation...happening in my college... I'm not sure will this kind of so called "TECHNICAL" problem occur again... ? Sigh...!!!

Just can't imagine this kind of JOKE really happen in my life... we really don't know whether to laugh or to be angry... because we are leaving very soon... maybe the college wanted us to have an unforgetable memories...

Till then, I can't wait to go for my WORKSHOPS...PARTY...BATIZADO...!!!!

3rd Bantus Capoeira Festival

Whoa... lately really busy and all my schedules are messed up. So, I think I have to postpond my cover for my French trip experience with you all. Now, I really need to share and update anyone of you out there reagarding an upcoming event organised by Bantus Capoeira Malaysia. It's the 3rd Annual Batizado by Bantus Capoeira Malaysia. All the Bantus Capoeiristas from Brazil, Australia, Singapore, and visitors from Thailand will be coming down to Kuala Lumpur for this huge/big and exciting event. The event is week long event starting from Monday-20th November 06' until Sunday-26th November 06'.

The event consist of workshops, party, street rodas, Batizado and etc... The Batizado is basically a ceremony for the Capoeiristas to exchange their cord for a higher level. But, for the beginners will be for them to be 'baptize' or known as welcome to the Bantus family. The workshpos are conducted by Mestre Pintor (Brasil Academy), Professor Gringo (Australia Academy), Instructor Claudinho (Singapore Academy), Instructor Rafael (Malaysia Academy), and Instructor Quek (Malaysia Academy).

Other than that, we do have street rodas which is we play on streets exactly like how it's played in Brazil. This is also to create an awareness for the public. Let them know the existance of GRUPO BANTUS CAPOEIRA MALAYSIA. For the capoeiristas from Malaysia can get the chance to play with our foreign guests. To exchange our skills, knowledge, experience, and etc.

The party is basically for everyone, performance will be put on by senior students, instructors and special guests. There will be Samba Dances going on after the performances...
